Late January pics

Maxou will turn 15 this Spring...

Isn't Chouchou really cute ?
She will be neutered next week-end.

Chouchou half asleep...

Momo found a new favourite place, behind DH's curtain
(it is also a great place to see outside)

Guess who is hiding under the cover ?
(you see the tail in one of the baskets)

December pics of the kittens

I don't know how long I will be able to talk about "kittens", because they are growing up so fast...

Here is some information I took from an email I sent to A, the lady who found Momo and his sister (she kept the sister):

Momo is growing all the time. He must weight over 4.5 kilo now (all muscle, no fat). Size (including head but excl tail) is about 40 cm. Tail is around 30 cm (pretty long).

Chouchou is really small, compared to him. Difficult to say whether Momo's growth is normal for a cat of his age or whether he will really be a big cat (one of our neighbor has one of these really big cats that are as big as a small dog).

At times, Momo can really very oshaberi (talkative). Like this morning.

He is very genki, spends a lot of time with his best friend Chouchou. They really love each other, play fairly (never hurt each other during play).

The first four pics were taken in early December, the other ones later that month.

Cats are welcoming us (Chouchou in the front, Momo behind her and Maxu hidden in the living room)

Momo enjoying his basket and the cover I knitted for him and the other cats.

A rare moment: Momo and Chouchou sharing the same cover (they usually sleep apart)

Chouchou so cute when asleep (and so energetic when awake)

Early November pictures of the kittens

Some more pictures taken earlier in November.
The printer always interested Titi and both kittens seem to enjoy it too...

Momo and Chouchou fight fair play, but also like each other very much...

Isn't that cuuuuute...

October pictures of the kittens

Both kittens are now about 6 months old. Momo is bigger and also heavier than Chouchou. October weight: Momo 3,5 kg, Chouchou 2,5 kg.

Fight with it other in a fair play way...

Finger suckling...

Cat's life is really nice, don't you think ?

Momo and Chouchou

Momo and Chouchou are usually full of energy and run around, fight with more or less fair play, jump here and there (the higher the better).

But, once in a while, they get really quiet ...

Sad anniversaries

Yesterday, September 10, was the first anniversary of Titi's death. We did not think too much about it and therefore did not cry. Or we did not want to cry and therefore did not think too much about it.

We moved on, somehow, but still think about him and cry sometimes.

A couple of months ago, I learned about kittens that had been abandonned at birth and saved by T. Around that time, I dreamed of Titi. It was a happy dream and I took it as a sign to adopt another cat. And before Chouchou was strong enough to be with us, we heard of another abandonned cat, Momo.

This is how our family grew up unexpectadly ...

Sept 10 is also the anniversary of Sh's cousin's death.

Sept 11 is another sad anniversary for the world ...

Both kittens are nicely relaxing in the living room on a Sunday evening. Don't we sometimes wish we were kittens ?

Chouchou loves water

We don't really understand why, but it seems that Chouchou just loves water and can't get enough of it ...
